Getting Parents Involved

Getting Parents Involved helps school districts achieve parental involvement that improves student achievement.
School districts use our program to create meaningful activities for parents, aides, and volunteers.  Our activities focus on the essential foundation learning objectives that are considered building block skills. Easy-to-use web based programs allow the educator to create parent-friendly activities that align to the district’s scope and sequence to ensure a custom parental involvement document for grades K through high                                        school exit exam requirements.

The majority of people agree that parental involvement increases student achievement and results in higher test scores.  Our parent-friendly tutorials and activities provide an easy-to-administer and cost-effective solution.  Teachers using our products have reported a reduction in workload through the leveraging of parents and volunteers.

Hundreds of activities will be available on your web site that will aid parents in assisting and tutoring their children.  Teachers can send home individualized activities based on a student’s specific needs.  Recreational reading is likely to increase as parents are provided with a reading list that is specific to their child’s reading level and outside interests. This will offer parents the opportunity to help their children in math, reading, language arts, and science.  Getting Parents Involved offers full Spanish translations that enable schools to include parents that previously have been disenfranchised by English-only programs.

Our unique parent-friendly activities consist of more than 450 essential learning objectives that actually encourage parental involvement.  While textbooks require a subject matter expert to teach the learning objectives, our tutorials begin at step 1 and are designed to allow the novice to assist his child.
